What a year. 2022 was packed to the gills with everything the surfing world has to offer. Whether it be seemingly endless historic Teahupoo swells, world title chases or just good ole' free surfing, 2022 surely had a taste of it all. Not only did Teahupoo fire on all cylinders multiple times this year, but the WSL world tour stop featured nothing more than a spectacle, with local wild card Kauli Vaast securing his spot in the final heat. We can't forget moments from Kolohe Andino in New York, Leo Fioravanti at home in Italy or the rise of women's surfing phenom Caity Simmers qualifying for the 2023 tour. We can keep rambling on, but we think the video speaks for itself.
