Biggest Waves in New Jersey History...Probably...

These are the heaviest waves I've ever seen hit New Jersey...  Have you seen bigger?

Get the gear! - www.numbskullsurf.com/shirts Best ever day in Jersey?? Definitely in the conversation. One claim we are totally comfortable throwing around was definitely the biggest surf I’ve ever seen here. Some of the heaviest too. While there definitely saw empty waves as big and perfect as you can ask for at a beach break it was definitely a challenge with the size of the waves, the outgoing tide all day and the 14 sec period. None the less, having the rare opportunity to experience energy like that so close to home made for a really memorable day. Stoked to get after with a good crew of young east coast chargers!

With maybe the largest surf we've ever had here in Ocean County, New Jersey a few surfers tried their luck with the ocean. Filmed by Ryan Mack

This weekend was absolutely bonkers. I landed back in New Jersey from my Hawaii trip with just about enough time to brush my teeth before I was packing my car up for the Historic "20-25ft" Swell Forecast 50 YEAR STORM in New Jersey. I've really never seen anything like this & I was stoked to find some grinding tubes all whilst washing off a heavy trip to the North Shore of Oahu. More Hawaii vlogs on the way by the way! Ferry Surfing in New Jersey or Surfing Keramas in Bali?

Which spot would you like to surf New Jersey Or Bali? Check it out:

Surfin Moose - @surfinmoose9682 Arrested is a heavy word. Technically Moose wasn't arrested, he was detained, but either way this entire situation is definitely something to observe. I paid a few tens of thousands of dollars in taxes to the State of New Jersey last year & if this is what they're doing with the money I may be showing up to a few town meetings after this. Moose is a 17 year old kid innocently trying to catch a wave, to think they needed to have 3 grown adult police detain him to question him about something's that pretty obvious, was ridiculous. I have respect for people who choose to protect our communities for a living, but there's a lot more to protect than stopping Moose from catching a Ferry Wave. I'm going to look into it more, but please help with any ideas on whether or not what these men said was actually law. It was another small day of waves at Keramas, and even though there weren’t a lot of barrel opportunities, there were plenty of walls to rip into. There was just the right amount of power and pace in these waves to really lean into a turn. It might not be classic Keramas, but it was plenty fun. 0:00 Intro 3:18 Nathan White: https://www.instagram.com/nat_bags01/ 3:39 000

They Call Her Stormy (Super Storm Sandy)... By Eric Cedeno

It was the best of times (for some) and the worst of times (for others). Stay safe and help others when you can. I put together this collection of images as a reminder of what happened.

For those of you that made it this far... Here are a few video clips I found...
