We chased a tsunami warning to the coast of California hoping to ride the wave that was put off, but our location didn't actually see any tsunami action, however other parts of California were actually affected by the tsunami. I saw footage from Santa Cruz & other places where the wave actually pushed into the shoreline & made land fall. It's a pretty scary situation, but the wave was only forecasted to be 1 foot in size, even so DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. We had fun with the situation, but it's still a very serious situation & should not be taken lightly. Thank you for the stoke & support. - Ben

What it's like to SCORE Pumping Surf on the Great Lakes!
Ever since I discovered Great Lakes surfing I've been impressed & a little obsessed by the whole idea of fresh water surfing. It was mind blowing when I learned that people have been surfing these waves since the 1960's. Living in proximity to one of the worlds biggest and most dangerous waves, Dom Mosqueira risks life and limb in pursuit of the perfect photograph of world class surfers riding the worlds most dangerous wave, Teahupo'o. Surf photography perfected through the lens of Dom Mosqueira.
He was born in Mexico, schooled in Canada, worked for Richard Branson in the British Virgin Islands and discovered his new home, Tahiti, while sailing around French Polynesia — Dom Mosqueira might just be the most interesting photographer in the world. You’ve seen his work on the cover of SURFING and beyond, most often from the water at Teahupo’o.
We have always been fascinated with people who followed their passions, lived with an almost singular focus, and done so successfully. Living the type of lives that don’t fit into our societal norms. I recently got my hands on a few homemade recycled fins made by Wafflebeaver. I really love the idea of reducing and reusing plastics to help made this world a less trashy place. Bryce (aka Wafflebeaver) shows his steps on how he created these fins and also shows how he rounded up and made the material to make the fins! This is such a cool idea! check this out:

This video is mostly about my shredder box that I've made to process the plastic from my neighborhood. Leave me a comment if you think you could use an HDPE or PP blank.
