I got a call from my friends at Soul Performance Surf & Skate and they said I had to try out this custom longboard. Oh for sure! Say less, I'm on my way! I picked it and gave it a fresh wax job since it had never been ridden before. Next up was to find some waves to test drive the board on. The surf in the south bay was on the small side, but there were still some fun waves to be found at El Porto.

I got the chance to test drive this custom 9'1 carbon fiber/ Cork longboard shaped by Mark Brog at Soul Performance. It has a deep spoon with channels in the nose that make nose riding stable and fast. Check them out at https://soulperformance.com
It's a very versatile board. Strong and not that heavy. Fast glide when dropping into waves. It really holds the nose well in the critical sections. I really need to give this board a test drive at point break, like Malibu or take it down to Ofre. Overall its a great board and I'm looking forward to my next board meeting.
