I picked up the latest SLIDE Magazine Issue #26 the other day...
While flipping through the pages of waves I ran across an article about this surfer kid (Cyrus Sutton) that travels around in his van and surf's all over the place. You can pick up the magazine yourself or you can cut to the chase and check the The digital journal of Cyrus Sutton online.
Here's a few words about him from his site:
I traveled the world as a pro surfer from 18-20 until my first surf film Riding Waves introduced me to the world of media production. For the past 10 years I’ve been directing commercials and web videos, winning an Emmy award and founding Korduroy.tv along the way. In 2012 I was asked to return to professional surfing through the support of Reef and Leatherman Sport.
Today I am combining my media experience with my travel and surfing opportunities to create work focusing on living simply and learning to do good.

My current project is the 20 minute surf film “Compassing" about a two month surfari in search of freedom.
